As far as tool rolls go for cycling, this is a good one. My only complaint? If you don't have it cinched 100% tight, there can be some tire rub when used with a dropper post, depending on your configuration. That's what happened to me during a fast descent at a race a few weeks ago; the tire friction when I dropped it pulled the material in such a way that my tool fell right out on the descent. I had to stop to retrieve it and resecure the tool roll. Aside from that, this has been a perfect device. Pros: Good organization - you can have a pocket for a tube and levers, another pocket for the tools, and a third zipper pocket can hold keys, cash, spare chainlink/spare valve core, credit card/ID, etc.. It folds over and rolls up and aside from one instance, has been secure every time. ATOP dial system - This is similar to BOA, but you simply rotate counterclockwise to loosen the strap. It's very easy to use and works. Minimalist - Holds what you need without bringing too much stuff. Padded contact point on the strap - The two ATOP laces go through a pad that protects whatever part of the bike you are attaching the tool roll to; I've only used the seat rails, but you could potentially use the bottom of the top tube if you wanted (be careful if your bike is made of carbon fiber, though). Aside from the one complaint when used on a saddle with a dropper seatpost, it's a winner! It's my go to saddlebag now for most of my bicycles.

This is a well made bag, but is a just little small for my use. My photos show what I put into it: small multi-tool, tire levers, foldable bead jack (probably could omit), CO2 inflator, spare CO2 cylinder, patch kit, chain repair link, and a couple dollars. With all that, it rolls up OK and the velcro holds it shut, but if I tried to stuff a tube into it there it wouldn't work, so I have to carry a tube in my pocket. The BOA system snugs it up tightly under the saddle and holds firm. My concern is that instead of wires it uses nylon cords, so I worry about them breaking someday. I tried to fasten the bag to the seat tube but it slides down into the wheel or onto the spare water bottle. It also worked OK hanging underneath the front of the top tube. One thing I do like is that I can easily remove the bag and reinstall it quickly on another bike; much easier than with a traditional under-saddle bag. I'm planning to give this a long-term trial to see how it holds up, but for now the only downside is the size.

The Good: -Has the wonderful fast wire tightening system -Good selection of pockets -Seems pretty waterproof The OK: -Velcro mounting system (like to see more than one attachment method) -Not very big (good or bad depending on what you’re looking for) The Bad: -Nothing Small, roll able packs this guy really has something going. It’s lightweight and would accommodate tools or like a cell phone/wallet, maybe some energy bars. The speed wire system is similar to what you would find on shoes with a slightly different lock/unlock method than I’m used to but still works great. Comes with several velcro straps for flexible mounting, like to see something that hooks or loops on in addition but I’d bet it would hold fine for most rides. Be relatively easy to add a hook or additional line if you’re really concerned. The only real issue for me personally with this thing is the size, it’s just too small to practically hold what I usually carry but it’s a nice flexible additional option. The poly material they use seems durable and very water resistant. If you’re searching for a small tight packing roll bag for you bike this might fit the bill perfectly but if you want more space you probably what to look at something else.

I got this saddlebag for my son’s mtb. His saddle is set almost as low as it’ll go thus prohibiting most saddlebags from working because there’s not enough clearance between a bag and the rear tire. A small roll style bag is the only type that will work on this bike because it’s so small and flat. In this bag I have a Tubolito type tube (regular ones won’t fit), a lever, 2 CO2s, an inflator and a multi-tool in there. He can get away packing so little since I always ride with him and can carry more in my traditional style saddlebag. The string that attaches the bag is literally a string so I hope it’s strong and lasts. I assume it’s the same sort of fiber they use in high-test fishing line but I can’t find any information to back that up. The ratchet dial works well although attaching and removing this bag isn’t nearly as quick and easy as the velcro straps that are used on the rest of my traditional saddlebags. To access the components of this bag you have to remove it completely from your bike so it’s best used to hold just a flat kit or items that you (hopefully) rarely need to access.. It’s a nice bag for what it is but beware of its limitations.

Nice idea for a small amount of gear. Easy to install, I like the ratchet strap closure system. To open it, you rotate the knob counterclockwise one click than pull the straps open. If you pack it full it may keep your dropper post from dropping all the way if you need it to. Otherwise this is a nifty little tool or essential bag for your bike.

Pro: - Good 'goldilocks' size - Fabric heavy enough to feel durable but light enough to not take up much volume as folded - Secure zip pocket combined with large fold over flap for content security (and dryness) - Padding for the thread that contacts rails to avoid abrasion - Latch on thread is much easier to connect than some other systems where you have to fiddle the wire into a track Cons: - The cord that you tighten with the 'boa style' closure is textile. Boa and most clones use a metal wire which has been proven very durable. I don't know how well this textile thread will last.

Because of the size of the roll bag, there is not enough room for my typical emergency tools and parts that I like to carry when riding. However, I do find it very useful to carry personal items. I can safely and securely stow the bag in many locations on my bike. I continue to use my under the seat bag for my bike’s essentials and use the roll bag for “wallet and phone” kind of items. I like being able to separate my bike tools and parts from my personal items and this roll bag accomplishes that desire well.

I really appreciate this tool roll bag, although its storage capacity is somewhat limited, which seems intentional to prioritize carrying just the essentials. It efficiently holds one tube, two tire levers, one CO2 cartridge along with the pump head, and a small multi-tool. The strap mechanism works exceptionally well in securely attaching it under my bike seat. Overall, it's a well-designed bag that serves its purpose effectively. The $36 price tag could be justifiable but may be just a tad high in my own opinion.
