Description

Granite Presta valve stem extenders add length to a valve that sits too low in a deep-section rim, so the pump head has something to grip. They relocate your valve core: take the core out of your existing valve with the included tool, thread the extender on, and screw the core back into the top of it.

Choose the length by how deep the rim is — 40, 60 or 80 mm — and they fit any Presta valve with a removable core, tubeless or tubed. Sold in pairs, machined alloy anodised black, with the valve core tool in the pack.

Running standard-depth rims? Our tubeless Presta valve stems fit those instead. A set of spare valve cores is handy to keep with them.

Installation

Remove the valve core

Let the air out. Use the included tool to unscrew the valve core from your existing Presta valve and lift it out.

Fit the extender

Fit the extender

Thread the extender onto the valve stem and snug it down with the tool on the wrench flats.

Refit the core and inflate

Refit the core and inflate

Screw your valve core into the top of the extender, then inflate as normal. A wrap of thread tape helps seal it.
