Under $20 — the ones that always land
Small, useful, and hard to get wrong because they fit any bike:

The safe bet if you know their bike
Integrated tools are the best gift on this list and the easiest to get wrong, because they have to fit. If you can check the bike first:
- Stash Chain Repair Tool Kit or Stash Tubeless Tire Plug Kit — need a handlebar with an inner diameter over 17.5 mm and a straight section at the end.
- Stash RT or Stash RCX — need a round fork steerer with a 23.5–27 mm inner diameter.
