Description

The Granite Stash Tire Plug Kit is a tubeless tire plug kit that lives inside your handlebar, so it's on the bike every ride and never in a pocket or pack. Pull it out and it's a complete repair: a steel reamer to open the puncture, a plug fork to push the plug in, and 10 plugs in two sizes.

It fits handlebars with an inner diameter over 18 mm and a 100 mm straight section at the bar end, with open-end or lock-on grips; the two included side caps (22 mm and 30 mm) cover both. No room in the bar? A second expansion rubber lets it mount inside a hollow crank axle instead. Vibrocore bars are known not to work with Stash.

Machined AL6061 body, 35 g complete. Plugs: 5 × 3.5 mm and 5 × 1.5 mm; refill packs are sold separately. Winner of the Design & Innovation Award 2020. Black or orange.

Slides into any bar with an inner diameter over 18 mm and locks with an expansion rubber. Unscrew the cap and the whole kit is in your hand.

Open the hole with the steel reamer, push a plug in with the fork, pull the fork out and re-inflate. The wheel never comes off.

You need an inner diameter over 18 mm and a 100 mm straight section at the bar end. Carbon bars vary, so measure; Vibrocore bars don't work.

Lock-on grip: 22 mm cap. Open-end grip: 30 mm cap. Fit the cap and expansion rubber, slide the kit in and tighten the 3 mm hex bolt until it's snug.

The cap sits flush with the bar end. It stays put on rough ground and comes out with a couple of turns when a tire goes soft.
